Numata milestones
2004 – Numata was established in Bloemfontein, South Africa – initially known as Centerweb.
2006 – Numata signs the first Managed Services agreement, as we know it today. The client that trusted us in 2006, is still a client today.
2008 – We changed name to Numata Business IT, focussing solely on IT Services for SMEs
2009 – We established our first Managed Services Operations Centre (MSOC).
2009 – Launched one of the first Managed Backup Services for SMEs in South Africa.
2010 – Expanded our footprint with the first physical office in Johannesburg, South Africa. This would later become our head office and where our MSOC is located.
2012 – Opened satellite offices in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Durban, South Africa, as part of our national expansion strategy.
2012 – Successfully completed one of the first SME cloud migrations to Office 365 – the first of many to come.
2014 – Launched our virtual Chief Information Officer services into the SME market
2016 – Moved into our new designed MSOC and HQ in Johannesburg, South Africa
2016 – Launched our cybersecurity services for SMEs
2017 – Expanded globally, our first international office opens in London, in the United Kingdom
2024 – Numata’s US entity established in Miami, Florida.
